In 2008 the European Eemland Conference (Coöperatie Stadteland/WUR LEI) worked closely together with the Autumn Conferences (Netwerk Platteland).
From october 22nd till october 24th the conferences offered a wide range of workshops, lectures and events.

The European Eemland Conference is a brand new initiative of the project group Versatile Countryside. The conference focuses on the Versatility of the European rural areas. Among the invited quest are a lot of well known representatives from NGO's, Governments and knowledge centres, amongst others.
